Style Birmingham

I am SO excited for this year’s Style Birmingham’s live catwalk show, which is hosted by Martine McCutcheon.I have been given the amazing opportunity to help prepare behind the scenes at the mailbox, preparing all the incredible autumn/ winter clothes, shoes and accessories that will be showcased on the catwalk.

I also set up and styled the mannequins which was great fun! It is so exciting to see how much hard work, effort and time goes into the show and I know for a fact it will be worth going to see! There seems to be a huge buzz all around Birmingham, especially in the bullring! I walked through the shops yesterday and saw the fantastic runway that will feature the latest autumn/ winter styles and collections from all top stores!

The show is called ‘Enchanted at Bullring’. I absolutely loved what they have done with the visual merchandising for the runway! 

I felt as if I was in Narnia! The show will present bold, graphic prints, inspired by the designs of Stella McCartney, Kenzo, Prada and Miu Miu. The show takes place on Saturday 29th September.

 Here are some images photographed by Kate Davis-Macleod. The trends are inspired by Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent, portraying a edgy Twilight Goth image. I love how the model is surrounded by crunching leaves which adds to the enchanted feel.
